At the end of 2014, “Yuan Is Here” opened its very first shop on Third Street in Sai Ying Pun, bringing authentic Taiwanese night market cuisine to Hong Kong.
It started as a humble space with fewer than 20 seats. All dishes, desserts, and drinks were prepared in a compact 100-square-foot kitchen.
By blending traditional Taiwanese street food with fresh, creative touches, “Yuan Is Here” quickly captured the hearts of Hongkongers, drawing in crowds eager to experience the genuine taste of Taiwan.

After two and a half years of hard work, “Yuan Is Here” opened its second location in the Kwun Tong district. The new shop spans approximately 3,600 square feet and can accommodate 80 to 90 guests.
The larger space allowed us to bring the authentic atmosphere of a Taiwanese night market to Hong Kong. Our customers could not only enjoy delicious Taiwanese street food but also fully immerse themselves in the lively night market vibe.
In addition, in 2017, we opened a small takeaway shop next to the Kwun Tong branch, offering breakfast and lunch options. This takeaway shop quickly became popular among young people and office workers.

After two years of hard work, “Yuan Is Here” expanded once again in 2019, relocating from Third Street to a larger space at 31 North Street in Kennedy Town. The new location covers 1,600 square feet and can accommodate up to 60 guests.
In 2020, “Yuan Is Here” established a central kitchen in the Kwun Tong industrial area, named “Yuan’s Kitchen”, to enhance production efficiency and ensure consistent food quality.
Airport
In 2023, “Yuan Is Here” proudly made its debut at Hong Kong International Airport, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s journey toward internationalization. This expansion not only reflects the brand’s global vision but also reinforces its commitment to serving travelers from around the world with warmth and authenticity.
Located at Gate 28, passengers can indulge in “Yuan Is Here” signature Taiwanese bubble tea and carefully crafted bento boxes. Even at 30,000 feet in the air, the authentic flavors of a Taiwanese night market are within reach—letting you take off with a cup of pearl milk tea in hand.
With its unique charm, “Yuan Is Here” is embarking on a new chapter in global culinary culture.

Yuan Is Here Comes to Base Hall 02 in Central’s Jardine House!
In November 2024, Yuan Is Here proudly opened a brand-new branch at Base Hall 02 in Jardine House, right in the heart of Hong Kong’s Central business district. Located within a Grade A office building, we’re bringing the authentic taste of Taiwan to the city’s bustling core—offering a warm and flavorful retreat for office workers and visitors alike.
Staying true to our brand’s dedication and creativity, the new location retains our signature dishes while introducing exclusive menu items to surprise and delight returning guests. With a cozy dining atmosphere, quick service, and the real taste of Taiwan, you can now enjoy a comforting bite of home right here in Central.

On February 14, 2025, Yuan Is Here marked a major milestone—opening its very first store outside of Hong Kong, in the vibrant Jing’an District of Shanghai. This exciting launch signifies the brand’s official entry into the mainland China market!
